12th Architect-Inspector Training course conducted jointly by Wood Construction Association (KWCA) and Wood University Center (WUC), which is one of training programs sponsored by Canada Wood Korea, has been completed and the final lectures and graduation ceremony was held on August 16, 2014.

At the ceremony, the certificates of completion were presented by Chairman of KWCA, Chan Kyu Park, Principal, Jae Seung Song of WUC and Country Director, Tai Jeong of CWK for 21 trainees who have successfully completed the course and KWCA scholarship and awards for full attendance have also been presented.

The 5 month long course has started on April 5th and, in addition to in-class lectures, tour of a WFC building products distribution centre was conducted on May 3rd and detailed information on wide range of WFC products, proper use and installation were presented to trainees.

Architect-Inspector Training course has been held once a year for architects and builders to provide in-depth knowledge on design and inspection of multi-story, multi-family wood frame construction and also a pre-requisite theory course for participating Canada Wood Korea’s annual Advanced Technology Construction Training Program (ATCT).
