The Alberta government (ESRD), the Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA), and Alberta woodworks welcomed twenty Korean designers and builders to Alberta on July 10 & 11, 2014. The Korean delegation visited eight projects in two days. Some of the proejcts visited included high-end multifamily residential in Canmore (Spring Creek), the Banff Rec Centre, the Bow River Pedestrian Bridge, and Grizzly Paw Brewery (Canmore). The two days were

capped off with a cultural visit to the Calgary Stampede, an event that delegates say they will never forget. A special thanks to ESRD for supporting this Korean architects program! The next inbound group will be an architects delegation from China during the BC Wood global buyers mission in Whistler early September.
