Canada Wood Korea and the Super-E® Office/Energy Efficiency Exporters Alliance (EEEA) held a certification conferment ceremony at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul for those who acquired the Super-E® Designate qualification through the Super-E® technical training held in Canada in July of last 2018.

The Super-E® Designate certification was conferred to 18 people who completed the two-week course on Super-E® Standards, which was held at the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada and passed the Super-E® qualification test in order to introduce the Super-E® House program that is optimized to wood frame construction, a low-cost and high-efficiency energy housing of Canada, to designers, constructors, and officials from related industries in Korea and to promote the program in Korea.

The ceremony included the conferment of the certificates for the fifth, sixth, and seventh Super-E® houses in Korea (Eunpyeong, Wanju, and Jeju) that were officially recognized by the Super-E® Office/Energy Efficiency Exporters Alliance (EEEA) in addition to the conferment of 2 Super-E® Builder membership certificates to 2 builders who have completed their first Super-E® Houses successfully.
