MOU with Dankook University to Advance Super E Together
Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation (IACF) operated by Dankook University and Canada Wood Korea (CWK) signed an MOU to agree to advance the business opportunities for wood frame construction by enhancing technical exchange and talent fostering.
The first joint effort between the two organizations will be co-hosting a 10 day-long Intensive Super-E Training at the DKU’s main campus in Jukjeon, Gyeonggi Province from August 5 to August 14, 2019. These sessions will combine practical training with lectures delivered by Canadian experts.
In partnership with CASE ArchiPlatform, a subsidiary architectural firm of the IACF, Super-E Office, Korea Wood Construction Association and CWK, the training program aims to build the competence in design and construction of healthy, environmentally-responsible and high-performance wood frame houses that meet the Super-E and Super-E Net Zero/Net Zero Ready Standards.
The MOU was signed between Director of IACF and Tai Jeong, Country Director of CWK and witnessed by Paul Newman, Executive Director of COFI/Canada Wood and Tae Woong Kang, Professor of Department of Architecture and CEO of Archiplatform.
