Super-E® Workshop Introduces Latest Technologies and Best Practices for Wood Frame Construction and Energy Efficiency

Ken Klassen, Senior Consultant, Super-E® Office/Energy Efficient Exporters Alliance (EEEA) visited Korea and delivered a half day Super-E® Workshop on December 10, 2018 in collaboration with Canada Wood Korea for 43 participants who have completed intensive Super-E® Training in Canada during the last 4 years.

The workshop, designed to provide the latest information on wood frame construction technologies and best practices, delivered topics on “The ‘Perfect’ Exterior Wall” which explores the various characteristics of a ‘Perfect’ wood frame exterior walls and how to improve their performances and their pros and cons. Other topics included were Unvented Wood Frame Roofs and Updates of Korea Super-E® Standard and new Super-E® Net Zero Net Zero Ready Standards.

The workshop was followed by the Super-E® Designate Certification Conferment Ceremony.
