Canada Wood Japan Announces New Manager of R&D and Technical Services

Yusuke Neriko

The Council of Forest Industries / Canada Wood Japan Office is pleased to announce that Yusuke Neriko has been promoted to the position of Manager of Research, Development and Technical Services. A graduate of Chiba University, Neriko worked for several years as a commercial architect before joining Canada Wood in 2016. Neriko san is a First Class Architect and is also concurrently studying for his Masters of Structural Engineering at the University of Tokyo.

Since joining our team he has led on a number of important new project initiatives including the creation of our wood-solutions.org website, expanding opportunities for wide width dimension lumber use in post and beam buildings, the development of hybrid long-span trusses and the next generation Midply walls (MPW2) for use in multi-family buildings. As an integral member of our team in his new role Neriko san will lead on R&D initiatives, market access files and technical support services.
