Canada Wood’s endorsed 5 star inspection system gets positive exposure
In recognition of the 50th 5-Star Construction Quality Certification application, an article on the 5-Star program was featured in the May issue of a popular monthly trade magazine called “Jeonwonsokui Naejip (Country Housing and Culture)”.
The article explains what an inspection should include, i.e. structure, insulation, and moisture management, and building envelope. Also, the article compares and contrasts the Korean system with the North American building inspection system, noting limitations and areas for improvement for the Korean system. It is expected that the article will further strengthen the program’s reputation and will make the system the most reliable and renowned certification system for wood frame construction in Korea.
