Wood Innovations by Wang Shu, the First Chinese Pritzker Architecture Winner
Wang Shu is the first Chinese Pritzker Architecture winner of 2012. In his latest design work of the reception center of Xiangshan campus of China Academy of Art, wood was the main language. The total building area is 6200 sqms. Besides wood materials, some other recycled materials, such as recycled tiles, clay pieces and soils, are also adopted.
