Canada Wood Korea (CWK) was thrilled to take part in Korea’s first-ever Modular Korea Fair, held at the KINTEX in Ilsan. We showcased the latest in prefabrication and industrialized wood frame construction, including NLT(Nail-laminated Timber) panel systems and mass timber.

The response was overwhelming, with some of Korea’s biggest names in construction and architecture – such as Posco E&C, Hyundai E&C, and GHED – making a beeline for our booth. It was an incredible opportunity to make new connections and explore the endless possibilities of wood building solutions in Korea.

But we didn’t stop there. We organized a technical workshop that focused on prefabricated mass timber and industrialized wood frame construction, as part of the Modular Korea Fair. We brought together experts in Wood Infill Wall systems, panelized wood framing, modular processing, and industrialized construction solutions, all using green technology for a sustainable future.

On-offline Hybrid technical workshop for big builders and big architects

The workshop was a huge success, with a hybrid approach that blended online and offline learning. Attendees gained invaluable insights into the potential of tall wood mass timber and other Wood frame construction technology, and explored new ways to implement these solutions in their own projects.

We’re proud to be at the forefront of the wood building revolution in Korea, and we’re excited to continue working with local firms to bring these innovative solutions to life.
