Canada Wood Korea has been working with RDH Engineering., a Vancouver-based specialist in building science and engineering, to develop a 16-hour training video series for our Energy Efficient Technology (EET) program. The new training videos were produced at High Performance Building Lab at BC Insitute of Technology and focus on different aspects of building science, from modelling with WUFI software to exterior insulation and moisture control strategies specific for Korean climate conditions. A mixture of video, live presentations and printed training manuals, the new course provides the audience with valuable and actionable takeaways in the most digestible manner.

Our first 4-day EET training was attended by 69 students with varying backgrounds from architectural design, engineering, builders, researchers and educators.

Based on the positive feedback from the students, Canada Wood Korea is working with RDH to develop advanced training courses for our Net Zero Energy/Ready home building initiative.
