Promoting the Benefits of Non-Residential Wooden Buildings in Japan: A Multimedia Video Showcase

SPF Manager, Canada Wood Japan

Get ready to be inspired! Canada Wood staff recently completed a series of three captivating multimedia video clips to promote non-residential wooden buildings in Japan. By working closely with key customers to showcase their work, it’s a win-win situation. Not only does it encourage them to continue building with Canadian wood products, but it also provides an excellent opportunity to educate other building professionals with concrete examples of what types of structures can be built and how.

These video clips, ranging from about 3 to 5 minutes, feature the three most recent non-residential wooden buildings constructed using the two-by-four construction method. Based on interviews and feedback from building owners on why they chose wood buildings and the advantages of doing so, these videos highlight what types of Canadian (SPF & OSB) and other engineered wood products (TJI, LVL) were used in constructing these projects. Additionally, the environmental advantages of using these materials are outlined.
